Vernon Summerlin and I made some discoveries below Old Hickory that help us—and will help you—catch cats below this excellent dam just about every time you go. Fishing is never a sure  thing,  but the more you understand about the water below dams, the better chance you have of catching fish and doing that with a minimal amount of boat traffic around you.
